What happens if I pick up a call meant for someone else?

Transfer a Call
To transfer a call that you have already answered:

Press Flash or the switch hook on your phone

Dial the 11-digit US phone number or international number to transfer to

Hang up
Call transfer is a "blind" call transfer meaning the caller will get forwarded
to the new destination number without giving you the opportunity to talk to the
person at the new destination. The alternative to this type of Call Transfer
would be "Tranfer with Consultation" which is not offered at this time.
Your account will be billed for the duration and cost of the transferred
portion of the call as if it were an outgoing call from your account.
